This marks our third collaboration with these valued clients, designing their family ranch just outside Round Top, Texas. Originally built as a spec home, the residence lacked the warmth and character reflective of the clients’ traditional aesthetic and personalities, presenting an opportunity to thoughtfully reimagine the space. Our approach focused on layering in richness, texture, and timeless details to transform the home into one that feels both inviting and enduring. Envisioned as a future retirement retreat, the design balances the need for large-scale family gatherings with the ease and comfort of everyday living. Set on 341 acres, the ranch continues to evolve alongside the family it serves. Future plans include a significant expansion and the addition of guest casitas, ensuring the property can graciously accommodate their growing family for generations to come.
